Welcome to the West Coast Branch Line of Game Central Station... we hope your visit is a pleasant one. Thank you for choosing us - we know you had other website options for your time-killing pleasure and we appreciate your business. |

Game Central Station - your one-stop Quickie Mart for variants, strategies, and the thoughts of Mark Jackson, the conductor. Speaking of the conductor, drop him a line and let him know what you think of the site! By now, you may have noticed that we've branched out a bit. The old Nashville based Club Car pages are (sniff, snuffle) gone - though the Nashville club WILL retain the Game Central Station name. (They're working on their own website and will continue to be one of the best gaming groups on the planet. Don't hesitate to touch base with them if you ever find yourself in Nashvegas!) On the other hand, there is a brand-new Club Car (whose kitchen specializes in TriTip, Jelly Bellys & Kool-Aid) - if you're anywhere close to the Fresno area, check us out. We're gaming every Monday night (well, mostly) at my home on the south edge of Fresno. Moreover, there's been a lot of changes here at the Station. The Switching Yard & the Tool Shed are gone (all of their contents either moved to BoardGameGeek or into pages of their own.) The tracks have been renamed & rearranged (in what I hope is a more sensible pattern.) As always, let me know what you think. The biggest "new thing" is a blast from the past, courtesy of Alan Moon... articles from the newsletter of White Wind Games, The Color of the Wind. Check it out! The Five & Dime reports are finally here on the website - all of them! Enjoy the trip down memory lane... as well as seeing the latest stats. "The One Hundred" is on the way (hopefully appearing in mid March...) Is this great or what? | ![]()
Of course, it wouldn't be proper for me to re-introduce the site without thanking the folks who've made this all possible: Game Surplus, a wonderful store for purchasing games like the ones you'll read about here at the Station. For those of you who've complained about the pop-up ads & various other problems of my running this site on Tripod, Geocities & Yahoo, Sarah & Thor Samuelson (the owners of Game Surplus) are the folks you need to thank for making this new & improved version of Game Central Station available. But enough of me jabbering... click on a link in the brand-new Ticket Window & start exploring the Station already!
