January 30, 2005 - The Well-Deserved Rest Update

I took off theend of December for a well-deserved Christmas rest. Then my son was in the hospital for a week, which seems like a pretty good excuse for not updating The Station in mid-January. I'm working on the Five & Dime Report and The One Hundred, a list of classic games dreamed up by Stephen "Balloon Cup" Glenn, which ought to be a decent excuse for skipping the end of January update. But, no! I, ever your faithful servant, bring some crumbs of an update to hold you until something more massive in February. (By the way, there are 18 new entries on the Lost & Found page - the first major update there in some time!)

December 15, 2004 - The It Doesn't Look Like Much Update

OK, just one page sure doesn't look like much, I know. But it took a lot of work.

November 30, 2004 - The Thanks To Stomach Flu Update

A wicked bout of stomach flu (which kicked in on the flight home from Texas) gave me some extra time to work on the website... since no one in their right mind would want to spend time with me and chance getting this evil flu.

Some smaller tracks are back in action... along with some more Elfenland-ishy stuff. And I keep inching along gettting the Apples Project back into working order.

October 31, 2004 - The Welcome Back Update

Boy oh boy, is updating & rebuilding the Station a much tougher deal than I thought it would be. Really. I had plans to have it back in action by Memorial Day (May), then Labor Day (September), and here it is Halloween and it's still a ghost (ha ha) of it's former self.

There is some new good stuff, though, so I thought I'd go ahead and go "live", even with all the empty tracks and piles of debris laying about. I'll try to update on a bi-weekly basis from here on out, even if it's just a little bit at a time.

The biggest news, of course, is our new address & look, thanks to the good folks at Game Surplus. You need to click on that link and spend money with them immediately.

The second biggest news is the gift of the contents of The Color of the Wind, the newsletter of White Wind. (For those who haven't been around the hobby for years, White Wind was the small company Alan Moon founded and ran to self-publish some great games and obtain the notice of the German game publishers in a serious way.) Thanks to the generosity of Alan, Game Central Station is now your Color of the Wind Headquarters.
