This is where the Conductor lives... come in, pull up a chair, grab an ice-cold Snapple out of the mini-fridge, and get to know him a little better.

Right Here, Right Now

How I spend my free time: Well, playing board games, naturally. I also like to hang out with my wife (even if it means doing yard work - blech) and I enjoy reading. Hanging out with my son is majorly cool as well - he's learning to play games! Right now, we're pretty much in Haba & Candyland mode (though his newest favorite is Hungry Hungry Hippos).

Books I'm currently reading: The Harry Bosch mystery series by Michael Connelly, Homeschooling: The Early Years by Linda Dobson, Uprising: A Revolution of the Soul by Erwin McManus, Epic by John Eldredge

The personal project I can't wait to finish: Cleaning out the garage... sigh.

Best childhood memory: My dad setting aside time out of his busy schedule to take me out to dinner.

(Almost) nobody knows that: I sang vocals & played keyboards in a rock'n'roll band.

Prized possessions: My 650+ game collection.

Most annoying habit: Singing along with songs I don't know.

Aliases: I'm MarkJackson on Brettspielwelt, gamemark on BoardGameGeek, and Fluff Daddy on most of the newsgroups I belong to...

Best gifts I've ever received: My wife. My son.

I would love to meet: C.S. Lewis, Gene Kelly, and my great-great grandfather who was a Methodist circuit rider.

If I could do life over: I'd spend less time worrying about what people think and more time on my wife, son & friends.

Most important decision I've ever made: To become a Christian.

By now, some of you are wondering, "What in the world is all this garbage doing on a gaming website?" Well, don't say you weren't warned. This IS where the conductor lives, after all.

My intention, however, is not to offend or cause problems. If you're interested in more about the church I pastor here in the Central Valley of California, the link below will tell you more about it and lead you to some interesting places that discuss the basics of Christianity.

NewLife Community Church

When I was searching for a new ministry position, I created a website with a number of articles I've written and a whole lot more information about me than anyone needs to know. If you're interested, you're welcome to check it out.
